Activities

Children should be PROTECTED by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). They should also PARTICIPATE in children’s rights! We need kids to be part of what concerns them and their well-being. Here are some activities to help kids get engaging and creating around their rights no matter their age!

RIGHTS of EVERY CHILD BOOK CLUB

You’re invited to start a Rights of Every Child Book Club! You could also hold a one-time event to read and create together around children’s rights. Or you might simply bring this idea to a child in your life or to a classroom, a library, or gathering. Then see how it might grow! Our Book Club activity guide will walk caregivers, educators, librarians, group leaders, and booksellers through a very special kids’ and all-ages book club discussion + creative invitation to engage with children’s rights.

*Begin with a book to reflect on and talk about!

*Choose a right you care about.

*Create! (A drawing, poem, poster, podcast…)

*Share it if and when you’re ready.
